The course acquaints students with the basics of computers, the internet and their applications. They learn about the various kinds of technological learning resources that are available.
Students are given an introductory understanding of computers, their components as well as using MS Office applications (MS- Excel, MS-Powerpoint and MS-Word). They learn how the internet can be used for educational purposes, online content development and e-governance. The course includes a 5 day workshop on the internet and technology enabled education such as developing e-content, MOOCs, Open Educational Resources and institutional projects followed by an assessment or viva voce on the last day.
