The Diploma program offers job-oriented education in a variety of hospitality skills, such as front office management, housekeeping, kitchen, food & beverages and marketing. Students also learn how to use culinary tools efficiently and perfect the art of making a variety of foods and drinks, including an understanding of the elements that go into each.
Diploma in Hospitality Administration is a comprehensive program designed to provide students with a solid foundation in the principles and practices of the hospitality industry. This course covers a wide range of topics, including hotel and restaurant management, customer service, food and beverage operations, tourism and travel management and event planning.
An industrial training program and a hands-on practical project are both included in the course to better prepare students for real-life challenges. Such internships and work placements provide students with real-world experience and skills. The training involves four core operational departments in a hotel: Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Service and Food Production. A viva exam is then conducted to evaluate students' knowledge and practical skills.
This diploma is a 1-year program and can be completed within a maximum of 2 years.
