Library is synonymous with education, providing countless resources, namely books, internet access, printing facilities, and educational and professional training programs that can fuel intellectual, economic, social and cultural development.
Recognizing the role of library and information services in meeting the requirements of the PCTM’s academic, research, training and consultancy activities, the Pal College library was set-up. The library is one of the best Subject libraries in Uttarakhand. The library collection comprises of books journals and other non-book materials. The collection also includes Books, Print Periodicals, CDs/DVDs, Audio-Video resources, Bound Volumes.
The library club at Pal College is a vibrant community of students who share a passion for reading, learning, and exploring the world. The club is dedicated to promoting reading culture among students and providing a platform for them to engage in literary activities, such as book discussions, author talks, and writing workshops.

Computer lab at PCTM provides time and space to develop skills not directly related to classroom curriculum. These skills can be first learned in the classroom; then mastered through ongoing application in the lab.
Our computer lab facility is equipped with a range of computer hardware and software, designed to provide students with access to technology resources for learning and research purposes. Students can use computers to complete assignments, access online resources, conduct research, and communicate with instructors and peers.
They also learn procedures for the use of equipment, supplies, materials, software, hardware and peripherals. The faculty is able to train them troubleshoot, diagnose basic problems with computer equipment, perform minor maintenance and repairs.
Our Computer lab is equipped with a range of software programs and tools, such as word processors, spreadsheets, graphic design software, and statistical analysis programs, to support student learning across a range of subjects. Our labs are specialized equipment, such as printers, scanners, and multimedia resources, to support specific academic disciplines or research projects.
At PCTM, computers are also used for online education & research. With the help of the internet, students find useful information about their projects, assignments and also can take useful help from other researchers as they store & organize their research materials in computers. Computer-assisted instruction aids students in their learning & revision process especially those students who have fallen behind.
Biotechnology harnesses the power of biological systems or organisms to develop products or services. Biotechnology is a research oriented science. Since the vision of our program is to produce competent biotechnologists which will positively impact agriculture, industry, and health care, a thorough practical skill is a must..Laboratory technicians at PCTM help the students in performing various experiments and carry out procedures which are part of their academic and research curriculum. Major objective of the lab is to apply the general principles and standards of technology transfer and ensure adequate training of our students in this modern technology.
